Newtown-Semi-detached terrace
A modest single storey residence transformed into a contemporary family home.
Due to heritage constraints the rear portion only of the existing residence was demolished to make way for a ground floor living zone with bedroom and study over.
The design was assembled to have minimal impact on the streetscape whilst meeting the clients brief of additional area and a more functional way of life.
Materials used included recycled brick work (bricks were set aside and cleaned from the demolition phase), aluminium framed windows & doors (with retractable Centor fly screens), various forms of lighting and external motorised venetian blinds.
