Set within a leafy pocket of Dolans Bay the subject site was previously used as market gardens then soon followed by aqua farming. At the rear of the site is a riparian zone that flows towards the beginnings of Dolans Bay.

A modest single storey residence transformed into a contemporary family home.

Due to heritage constraints the rear portion only of the existing residence was demolished to make way for a ground floor living zone with bedroom and study over.

The design was assembled to have minimal impact on the streetscape whilst meeting the clients brief of additional area and a more functional way of life.

Enriching the character of a federation semi-detached by creating an open plan inner-city retreat.

The rear half of the original residence was demolished and a new configuration designed to reflect the client's lifestyle.

The new layout created a third bedroom, brought the wet areas together, added storage within the roof, and created an open plan kitchen, dining and living area.
